I had a medical assisting author once who told her students to remember that they saw people at their most vulnerable, at their medical worse, and therefore they needed to overlook shortness of speech and impatience directed at them. Seemed like good advice outside the docs' offices, too! ...Thank you for sharing this quote on Christmas Eve. I especially like that it is by "Unknown."
