SIXTEEN WORDS FOR LOVE

Just wanted to share a tiny poem (that's really huge) for Poetry Friday. I wrote it this morning after a prompt given to me by fellow writer and friend Sheila.

Sixteen Words for Love

Ablaze now,
I give you
yes
raw snowmelt,
unbroken
braid.

Listen:
this ocean
is our map.

  3. not that I didn't like your poem it was great but I guess I'm always jumping to the end to see what it means and don't see the messages between the first word and last

  4. I loved this poem and reposted it, with your name and copyright on it on this blog I have to make for my college class.

Thanks for the great example of how powerful 16 words can be:)
