Hello and Happy Poetry Friday! Be sure to visit Michelle at Michelle Kogan for Roundup.
I've got India on my mind—because our youngest son is traveling to south India (Bangalore) tomorrow. He'll be gone for three weeks, so we'll celebrate Christmas a week late when he returns. I'm excited for him and can't wait to hear about his adventures!Thank You Books signing copies of MEET MISS FANCY. Thanks to Avondale Library, there will also be a storywalk of the book through the park. I'm excited!
For ArtSpeak: Animals I wrote quite a few coral snake poems. I'll leave you with two that share a "river" theme! Thanks so much for reading. Thanks also for your suggestion regarding 2023 ArtSpeak theme. I think I've decided! 😊

Oooh, fun stuff here. Maddie lived in India for a couple of months in Kolkata, and she adored it. Hope your son has a wonderful time. Have fun with the Miss Fancy events, and thanks for these poems. I love the snake thinking it's a river!ReplyDelete
That is wonderful news about Miss Fancy, Irene. Enjoy all the celebrating! I love, like Laura, "thinks she's a river". Best wishes to your son in his adventure!ReplyDelete
What a wonderful celebration! Hooray for Miss Fancy! India is on my bucket list of places to visit. The show, 'Good Karma' Hospital did it. I just want to go and experience the colors, sights, and all the cool stuff. What loving poems of the coral snake. I see those pictures and I would struggle to write something other than out of fear! "thinks she's a river." BeautifulReplyDelete

And fancy that! I'm excited for you and Miss Fancy - and all the kids and their families who get to share in the fun.
