How lucky we are to have art in our lives that makes us happy. We share a love for several paintings, Irene. Mary Cassatt's work is at the top of my list. ReplyDeleteLove this, Irene. My granddaughter and I read during breakfast together. She's just a toddler, but each morning that I put her in her booster chair, she starts requesting, "Books! Books!" Her love for books and the time we spend together enjoying them makes me "happy" :)
ReplyDeleteI do love Mary Cassatt's work, but this one is new to me. Of course, I love it, and your poem, Irene, touches my heart. Each week, there is that mantra, "just one more". Happy Sunday!
